ROLLAND CENTER FOR LINCOLN RESEARCH
(FORT WAYNE · IN · 2021)
Rolland Center for Lincoln Research at the Allen County Public Library was created so that visitors and school groups will can see and study the materials in the $20,000,000 Lincoln Collection. They offer stipends for national authors, scholars, and students to travel to Fort Wayne in order to conduct research using material from the Collection.
The library desired a "not your typical experience" for visitors that included digital touch screens and large displays so that individuals of varying abilities, ages, and knowledge levels are able to fully engage with the Collection.
WAVE designed an immersive experience of the Lincoln Collection, including the systems and technology that would honor the collection. This included schematic design, documentation and infrastructure, an equipment list, show drawings, and on-site commissioning with our engineers.
