Kingdom Fellowship A.M.E. Church
Kingdom Fellowship is one of the largest churches in the DC area, with an active congregation of over 5,000 members. As they expand their ministry, they needed a new location.
Desire: Build and design a worship center that would provide an immersive, welcoming experience to every seat.

ABOUT.
Along with the Worship Center, we provided services in the Lobby, Fellowship Hall, and Children's Worship.
Working closely with the architects, we helped design the space to create an acoustical setting in which each sound source can benefit from specific acoustic environments. Vocalist experience lush reverberation, while preaching can be in a controlled environment to enhance speech intelligibility.
SUMMARY
When the African Methodist Episcopal Church combined Reid Temple-North and Reid Temple DC congregations, the membership was over 5,000. Leadership, led by Rev. Matthew L. Watley, knew God was calling them to a new location, one that they could host powerful, spirit-filled worship but also partner with the community in new ways. They purchased land and built a brand new building that contained a 2,000-seat worship hall, chapel, community space, and more.
THE SOLUTION
To create an environment where two-thousand people can gather together, the church desired a video solution that would create image magnification for everyone to worship together. For video, we chose a Canon camera and Absen LED solution that provided high-quality resolution at an affordable price. Chauvet and Elation solutions brought color and life to the stage, and an Allen & Heath console created the mix.
